Want to Volunteer at the 5K?

Farmers 5000 needs many volunteers to make our event a huge success!  If you are interested in volunteering for our Fall 5K on Sept 19, please email Julie Sestak at hartsestak@earthlink.net

Goody Bag Stuffing – Assist with putting together the goody bags for all the participants (stuffing the bags with all the giveaways and donated items)

Packet Pick-up – Assist at packet pick-up to get all participants their goody bags, bib #s and any other duties as needed.

Onsite Registration – Assist with on-site registration for any participant who is not already pre-registered.  Give goody bags to those participants who did not already pick up.  Assist with any day of registration needs.  Welcome all participants.

Hospitality – Assist with start and finish line food and beverage.  Welcome participants and volunteers.  Assist with set-up and clean-up of finish line food and beverage.

Course Monitors – Monitor and secure the course in a designated location (will be assigned day of event).  Guide all runners in the appropriate direction and cheer all participants to the finish line.

Parking/Traffic Monitors – Direct traffic in the appropriate direction.  Monitor parking so to efficiently utilize the available parking. 

Set-up – Assist with set-up of the course and tents at start/finish area.  Includes some lifting and handling of heavy items.

Aid Station – Distribute water to the participants along the course.  Cheer on everyone to the finish!
